Radice pipes have been around since 1980, providing smokers the world over with top-quality Italian craftsmanship and design. A true "family affair", today all Radice pipes are made by only three craftsmen: Luigi "Gigi" Radice and his two sons, Marzio and Gian Luca.
This particular Radice is a fancy billiard in the rustic “Rind” finish. It features a medium-large chamber, thick walls, smooth rim and ferrule with wax-carving on the outer edge of the rim. The stem is a brand new, unsmoked acrylic replacement with single bore airway. Excellent Radice briar at a bargain price!
Markings read: RADICE, RIND, hand made in italy. Measurements: 6 1/4" long, bowl is 1 5/8" wide and 2" tall. The pipe weighs 55 grams. About a Dunhill group 5 in capacity (due to depth).
Condition:
8.5 out of 10. Issues: Some darkening and rounding of the inner rim edge, and as noted above, the stem is a brand new, unsmoked acrylic replacement with single bore airway. All cleaned up and ready to pack and light.
