Radice pipes have been around since 1980, providing smokers the world over with top-quality Italian craftsmanship and design. A true "family affair", today all Radice pipes are made by only three craftsmen: Luigi "Gigi" Radice and his two sons, Marzio and Gian Luca.
The new Radice "Classics" series is a group of seven different shapes done in the most popular finishes that Radice produces. The idea behind the series is to represent seven of the most popular classic shapes that Radice makes, and allow collectors and smokers alike to put together a seven-day set in any combination of shape and finish one desires. There are special presentation boxes for the seven shapes (see the link below). The shapes themselves are lovely and represent Radice's vision of what classics are all about. The first one is a billiard; the second is a Canadian; the third, a Bulldog; the fourth, a Poker; the fifth, a slightly bent Apple; the sixth is a bent Dublin while the seventh is a bent Billiard. Each shape is available in any of the following finishes: Rind Light, Rind Dark, Silk Cut Light, Silk Cut Dark, Underwood, Rubino, Radice "Radice" and Clear. The case comes free with the purchase of one each of the seven different shapes if purchased at the same time, or if one wishes to buy a case at a later date in order to start assembing a seven day set one piece at a time, they will be available for a nominal fee.

Here we have a beautiful unsmoked Radice Classic #10 Billiard, the first shape, in the classic black-over-red Rind rusticated finish. The pipe features nice thick walls, a medium-large chamber, special Radice Classic stamping and thin, comfortable single-bore stem done in black Lucite. Measurements are shown below and are nearly identical for all #10 billiards regardless of finish, but there may be very slight differences (less than 1/8th of an inch). Weights shown are exact.
Markings read: RADICE, CLASSIC, hand made in Italy, 30, -10-. Stem is black Lucite, with Radice's two-dot logo done in silver. Measurements: Approximately 5 3/4" long, bowl is about 1 3/4" wide and about 2 1/4" tall. The pipe weighs in at 69 grams. About a Dunhill large group 5 in capacity.
Condition:
10 out of 10. Unsmoked and perfect; complete with Radice sleeve.
